Dry shampoo is God sent and it’s pretty much the best thing that has happened to hair care. Isn’t it amazing to be able to spray some shampoo on your hair and it instantly feels and smells clean without having to do much? Oh yes it is!
Okay guys, I do not want to enjoy this dry shampoo discovery alone. So am sharing some tips on how to use this product with you all. Here we go:
First thing you need to know about dry shampoo is that, it is not like the normal everyday shampoo we’re used to. What am trying to say is that, you don’t need to wash out this product after applying it. It’s called dry shampoo for a reason, and that’s because of it’s convenience.
I usually spray it on my hair starting from the roots and then I leave it for few minutes to soak in before brushing my hair. Once you do this you will immediately see a huge difference in both the texture and the feel of your hair. Trust me! Dry shampoo does magic to your weaves and hair.
Don’t forget to double check the brands instructions on how to apply your dry shampoo, because different brands have their own application instructions. I use Aussie Miracle Dry Shampoo and the instruction I mentioned above is how I use it. You may decide to apply yours differently. However, be sure to do what works for you.
The common mistakes people make is to use dry shampoo excessively. When you do this you leave too much white product in your hair and it’s not that easy to take it off. This product doesn’t need to be washed out with water, so a little spray on your hair goes a long way. My advice is that you do one round of spraying then brush it off before doing another round only if the application wasn’t enough the first time.
Dry shampoos should be used not more than 2 or 3 times a week or even less. Have it in mind that even though this product works magic on your hair, if used without control, it can dry your hair out and even cause damage.
